Lanvin Fall 2010

Alber Elbaz killed it this fall! I loved loved loved Lanvin's Fall 2010 collection. It reminded me of the movies Aeon Flux and Atlantis The Lost Empire, mixed with Xena the Warrior Princess, and whole bunch of gothica thrown in. Of course, no one can miss the tribal details (which Alber Elbaz attributes to the African culture) with the feathers and intense accessories. I want nearly everything I've seen in this collection. Its extravagant and yet some of his pieces are so beautifully simple. Its sexy yet its so sophisticated. Its dark and intense but he still has some wonderfully light pieces. I feel like Elbaz has done such an amazing job by being able to mix so many elements in a collection but still have it look like it all comes from the same line. Beautiful!

Take a look at a few of my favourites, but be warned, there are many many many photos and I refuse to minimize them because I want you to take a look at them in full detail.

I told you it was visually intense but I just couldn't help it. I liked so many pieces and I felt making a small gallery just wouldn't do these items any justice.

I hope this doesn't overwhelm you and I can't wait to hear your comments.
