I FINALLY GOT MY FIRST PAIR OF LOUBOUTINS! Yes, I'm excited! Can't you tell by the capslock? I've been waiting to purchase a pair of Christian Louboutins but I never had the courage to actually do it until recently. I decided to go with a classic look and ordered the Cliche 100 in black patent leather. I ordered them online off of Luisa Via Roma. I got them shipped in within 4 business days from Italy which is amazingly fast, the only crappy part was the amount of extra money I had to pay.

First, I was charged around $30 by paypal to convert CAD to EURO (the exchange rate was 1.38). Then customs decided to charge me over $79 in import duties. Then they added the import duties to the price of the shoe (which makes no sense to me so I will be contacting CBSA to clarify it) and then taxed me on that total price which was an additional $67. On top of that, FEDEX charged me a $10 road fee? What the hell is that? I know shipping is free but then why am I paying a road fee? That I'll have to clarify as well. Altogether, that was almost $200 extra that I had to pay on top of the original price of the shoe! I hate the Canadian tax system.

Anyway, after all the mess, I finally got to try on my shoes. They fit me pretty well, although, they do hurt just a bit at the toes but I'll manage. My girlfriend and I decided to document the entire process through a bunch of photos so please enjoy each photograph in

Hugs and kisses,
